Came in for a license renewal. Was told I need a birth certificate. Turned to my husband irritated and told him "I could have all the paperwork in the world but can't do anything without my birth certificat."
Heather Klug nailed it. Woman behind the desk who answers the phone is beyond hateful - not just about business pertaining to one's drivers license, but also on a personal level, about personal information that should absolutely be none of her professional concern. I'm assuming this review is useless, and she's one of those untouchable people who "knows somebody", because I see no other way she would have gotten the job in the first place; but if you're reading this, and you happen to be one of her superiors who actually cares about doing a good job and not just appeasing small town "heroes", then she should be fired promptly. Trust me, it will make the Hamilton Alabama Driver's License Office a much, much happier place to find yourself as a citizen.
2 I physically turned my back on the woman and spoke to another person yet was told to leave for having an attitude with her.
So 1 star. Re-evaluate your workers.

I just had the worst experience at this office. All I can say is that the clerks are the typical small town minded bureaucrats that talk behind your back in front of other clients.
